We are seeking a qualified project manager to join our project management office (PMO). Candidates must have demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects (short and long term) simultaneously using structured project management methodologies and have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. A solid understanding of structured project management methodologies is required.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years project experience and demonstrate the ability to assume overall responsibility for completing multiple projects on time and within budget. Ideal candidates will have a PMI PMP certification. Certification is not required but is a plus.
Specific experience must include:
- Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and budgets
- Determining project resource requirements (technical and functional)
- Managing project scope with excellent change control experience
- Managing customer expectations and facilitating process change management
- Identifying and proactively managing project issues and performing risk analysis
- Providing timely and accurate project status reporting
- Assisting with the identification and implementation of project management best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team captain mentality with a focus on team productivity and achievement
