We offer two licensing options. The first is an Application Service Provider (ASP) model, on a per site basis, where we host your site for $469 a month. (This includes core licensing, eNewsletters, hosting, and traffic reports.) This includes 2 hours of support a month, which accrue month over month, but expire annually. These hours can also be used for enhancements and additional training.
The second option is for the customer who wants to host at their own data center or on server(s) at the location of their choice. The PubPoint® license price is determined by the number of PubPoint site and servers. Each site and server used (including production, development, and stage environments) is $4500 a year. Or, a customer can purchase a block of 5 server licenses for $15,000 a year. Or, the customer can purchase a full license for any number of sites and servers for $38,000 a year. (Each server licensed includes free PubPoint software updates, future version upgrades, and includes 16 hours of support a year, which expire at the end of the licensed year. ) For this option the customer is responsible for costs associated with server hardware and the licensing of 3rd party software, such as Microsoft Server and Microsoft SQL Server.
Finally, we can customize your licensing costs by adjusting the number of content authors, features, and modules, to your exact needs. In these cases, licensing is substantially reduced. Note: PubPoint, as mature as it is, is not quite an out-of-the-box product, such that it requires basic configuration of graphics, templates, and content to convert an existing non-managed site or develop a new site. This task is typically 1 week depending on final site objective, items which already exist an can be reused (script, html, content or graphics), and amount of pages in the site map.
