The Email Merge module is used to integrate PubPoint’s powerful data/content merging capability with data from external business systems in order to send out mass email promotions. It allows for the source of email data to be defined from any SQL Server database that is accessible from the PubPoint instance, and includes the ability to parse through database fields and/or XML. Each email template may be scheduled to be sent immediately, periodically, or on a given day of the month. The system maintains a full log of emails that are sent out.
